In 2022, Incheon declared that the city would be carbon neutral by 2045.

However, unless the Yeongheung Coal Power Plant🏭 located in Incheon is shut down, the goal of carbon neutrality will be impossible to achieve, even with community-level efforts.

In order to respond to the climate crisis, Incheon should decide to shut down Yeongheung Units 1-6 early and prepare for a just transition!
